RSO works to serve the families, significant others and loved ones of Ross University Medical School students and faculty. We endeavor to facilitate a smooth transition to island life and create a fun and social environment. We are so glad you have chosen to join us here on Dominica to support your loved ones as they take this marvelous yet challenging journey through medical school. While our main goal is to be here for our loved ones, we are also here to support each other. The RSO is committed to providing ample social activities to help you make the most of your stay. So, bottom line, get involved, stay active and HAVE FUN! It’s going to be a great semester!  If you are new to the site, be sure to sign up and say hello in the new forum. All members of RSO are welcomed to attend the new spouses social at Le Flambeau at PBH on Thursday, Sept 11, 2008 at 1:30 pm.  Come out and meet the new spouses and mingle with the familiar ones as well.  Food and beverages will be served along side the fun games and activities we have planned for everyone.  See you there.

Welcome.  We are so excited to meet and help you.  The new spouses orientation meeting will be held on Tuesday, Sept 9th, 2008 at 10:00 am in Classroom 3 (it is directly behind the daycare/prep school). If you have children and they will not be in school, they are welcomed to come with you. You may want to bring some activities or books along to help make their time more interesting.  Lunch will be served for new spouses and their children following the meeting.  See you there.

Welcome to all the Incoming Spouses, Significant Others and Families arriving to the island this upcoming semester. The Ross Spouses Organization would like to cordially invite you to the New Spouse Orientation and Ross Spouses Organization’s Opening Social. The New Spouse Orientation is open to all new spouses, significant others and any other persons coming to the island to support their loved one during their journey through medical school. The Orientation will be held on May 13th at 9am until 1pm in Classroom 3. Attendees will be presented with helpful information from other spouses regarding life on the island. Attendees will also be provided with a lunch (lunch will not be provided for Ross students). The Ross Spouses Organization’s Opening Social will be held May 15th at Le Flambeau at 1:30 pm. The Opening Social will be a time to mingle with other spouses (both ones who are new to the island and those of us who have been here a while) while enjoying some appetizers which will be provided. Again both events are open to spouses, significant others and anyone else accompanying a student on the island. We look forward to seeing you at both events!
