Entertainment
As you may have heard, there are many things to do on Dominica! Since you are here, we recommend that you explore what the island has to offer. Here we have compiled ideas and places that you shouldn’t miss out on! At the beginning of each semester, Ross University plans some island tours that include some of the following attractions. Sign up for these tours in the SGA office. You can travel to each attraction on your own by calling a transport. You can ask the driver to be your tour guide as well, if needed. Obviously, this is not an all-inclusive list, and we encourage you to find other attractions on the island!

SCUBA Diving
Dominica is consistently rated among the top 10 sites in the world for recreational SCUBA diving. The nutrient rich waters teem with life including sponges big enough for a grown man to sit in, schools of tropical fish, reef creatures straight out of Jacques Cousteau videos, sea turtles, and whales. Some of you more apprehensive beginners will be happy to know that sharks are rare here, and to see one is lucky. Many people come here having no dive experience, others with more experience, but those who spend any amount of time diving in Dominica find it to be very rewarding and exciting! Cabrits Dive Center is located near Ross University on Lizard Trail and can be reached at 445-3010. The shop offers special rates for students and spouses on all courses and dive packages. Every course and package includes full gear if you don’t own your own. Many people say the prices are the cheapest you can find anywhere.
