The next monthly shopping trip to Roseau will be this Friday, November 21, 2008. Renn will be taking us so the transport will be a smaller one with A/C and space in the back for our groceries (in order for more comfort and space for our stuff). The cost will be $30 EC per person. We will leave the usual 8:30 am in front of the library and return about 2:00 pm. Please RSVP to rossspousesorg@gmail.com or to lilliansuh@gmail.com before Thursday noon. This will allow time for me to call another transport if necessary. See you there.

Carib Territory & Emerald Pool: Dominica’s First People - the Caribs - live on a 3,700 acre Territory on Dominica’s east coast that set aside for them in 1903. Besides the warm and friendly people, other attractions in the Carib Territory include its many craft shops, the L’Escalier Tete Chien, Horseback Ridge and Isulukati Falls, as well as the Karifuna Cultural Group.
Emerald Pool is a pool in a lush green setting at the foot of a gentle waterfall can be reached after a five minute walk through a rain forest of ferns and foliage. Although the pictures you’ve seen are gorgeous, you really need to see it in person to get the whoa effect.
This is a great trip for families & children.

Spouses Snorkle Boat Trip: An afternoon snorkle trip at the North end of Douglas Bay - a great snorkle site that is not accessible from shore. The snorkeling here is great as there is a lot of reef just 10 ft below the water with a wide variety of fish life. If you are lucky you may even see the little turtle that lives here and loves to play in the boulders. After a lovely snorkle you can sunbathe or just relax on the bow of the boat while enjoying tea and biscuits! Price is USD 33 per person and includes snorkle rental.
The trip leaves at 8:30am and will be back at 11:30am
