One of the primary goals of RSO is to facilitate a smooth transition to island living for incoming spouses and their families. In an effort to do this we are in the process of forming a welcoming committee, and putting a sponsorship program in place. We want to pair up incoming spouses and students with someone already living on the island. This will serve dual purposes: to help the incoming family feel as at ease as possible as they transition into their new lives, and to give the current spouses a way to reach out and lend a helping hand.
